Synodontis Petricola are found in Lake Tanganyika and can grow to a length of approximately 15 cm. This species is rare and highly sought amongst aquarists.
Syno Petricola are renowned as the most peaceful of the Synodontis species, and with their inquisitive nature, they benefit well from stimulating décor. Ideally require plenty of open water for swimming and using rock arrangements to form caves for exploration. Dim lighting will encourage the fish to be more sociable.
Diet:
Omnivore and are most unfussy in terms of feeding. Frozen, live and dried foods are all accepted. It also relishes vegetable matter in the form of shelled peas, cucumber etc., which it will rasp at with the teeth in its lower jaw.
