Hygrophila Angustifolia, also known as the Willow Hygro, is an undemanding, extremely attractive aquarium plant that is east to grow. It has large stems with narrow leaves that sway in the current like a weeping willow tree. Stems can grow 25-60cm long and the leaves can become 10cm long which makes it suitable for a background plant.
It’s demands are easy to meet, making this an easy grower for the beginner. Moderate light and regular fertilization help this plant thrive and grow faster. Regular pruning will encourage new growth and a promote a more compact growth.
Propagation can be achieved by taking cuttings from the main stem of the plant that are replanted into the substrate. Be sure to remove the leaves from the last node on the bottom of the stem to insure proper root growth.
Minimum of 3 stem per bunch sold.
Please note that this plant is sold as a bunch, size of the bunch will vary depending on season/time of year.
